NC12350   Monocoupe 110

NC12350 originally had a Townend ring on the Warner 125.  Tony Little had a NACA bump cowling that he used for racing.  I have the original Townend ring.

I have a deposit on a new bump cowl from DJ Short at Shortair in Warrensburg, MO.

The finished brackets on the mount.  I won’t final drill the holes until my motor arrives.  I sent Alan a 1/4” thick aluminum blank, 24” square, to back drill a template using my motor rear case before he assembles the motor.  I can then use that template to drill the brackets in assembly, and the motor should bolt right up.

With these brackets made, I was able to “set” the position of the rear case of the motor, and from that location, determine the location of the dishpan and the boot cowl.
